Skin Resurfacing removes the outer damaged layers of the skin's surface to promote skin regeneration. You will notice an overall improvement in skin tone and texture.
Profractional Laser treatment creates tiny ablation zones targeting the epidermis and upper dermis. The treatment stimulates the body's natural healing processes, encouraging the growth of new, healthy skin. The healing process stimulates collagen production, tightens the skin, improves skin texture, and improves age spots and hyperpigmentation. The newly revealed skin will be smooth, fresh and more youthful in appearance.
Erbium Microlaser Peel provides precision and individualization in treating the skin. The system allows for treatment depths as minimal as 10 microns (similar to a chemical peel) up to 120 microns (for a full resurfacing effect. You may elect to have a full resurfacing, or choose partial resurfacing. These depths are determined by two factors; severity of the skin concern and the amount of recovery time a patient can tolerate. The deeper the resurfacing the longer the downtime, but the result may be dramatic. Specific depths of treatment can be selected, so that the treated area is "feathered" into untreated areas and you will not see where the treatment ends
Rejuvenate Medical Spa Arctic Peel
Also known as the "weekend" skin peel, the Arctic Peel ™ is ideal for patients with sun damaged skin and early skin aging. Our Sciton Joule ™ Erbium-YAG laser is used to perform this in-office, minimal down-time procedure. No anaesthetic is required as chilled air is used to cool the skin during the treatment.
One Arctic Peel is more effective than 3 to 5 microdermabrasion treatments. Patients will be slightly red for 24 to 48 hours and a slight peeling superficial skin similar to that seen from a mild sunburn. Improvements in sun damage will occur and the skin will take on a more polished appearance. The procedure is not effective for deep lines and wrinkles or scarring. However some fine lines may soften considerably after a series of treatments. This is a minimally invasive - no downtime - procedure that is tolerated well and associated with no significant side effects. A series of Arctic Peels™ has a cumulative beneficial effect.
Rejuvenate Combination Resurfacing
This specialty combination treatment combines Profractional and Microlaser Peel in one treatment session. This treatment combination is specifically designed for clients that want resurfacing with the added benefit of tightening and surface rejuvenation. Downtime will vary from patient to patient, depending on the depth of the peel combination. Most clients can expect 3-7 days of skin redness. Skin will look and feel healthier, more luminous and rejuvenated.
